Terry Cuthbertson
Interim Chairman
Terry has extensive corporate finance expertise, having advised several businesses and government organisations in relation to mergers, acquisitions and financing. Formerly, a Partner of KPMG Corporate Finance and NSW Partner in Charge of Mergers and Acquisitions. He was formerly Group Finance Director of Tech Pacific Holdings Limited(one of the largest information technology distributors in Asia) and also formerly Non-Executive Chairman of Symbio Holdings Limited. He is currently Non-Executive Chairman of ASX listed Austpac Resources Limited.
Mr Cuthbertson was appointed as a Director of Pacific Nickel Mines Limited on 29 March 2012.
Geoffrey Hiller
Director & Chief Executive Officer

Geoff has extensive experience in engineering, project management and mining finance. Prior to his appointment to Pacific Nickel, Geoff worked for Finders Resources where he was closely involved in the development of the company’s Wetar Island copper project in Indonesia. He was previously an executive director of Tennant Metals Pty Ltd (a metals trading company) and prior to that an executive director of RFC Group (now RFC Ambrian). In the last three years he has been appointed an executive director of Pacific Nickel, a non-executive director of Southern Palladium Limited (ASX and JSE Listed – IPO in June 2022) and a non-executive director of Austpac Resources Limited (ASX Listed).
Mr Hiller was appointed as a Director of Pacific Nickel Mines Limited on 4 October 2019.
Rob Thomson
Technical Director

Rob has in previous CEO/Executive Director/GM/Site Project Director roles been involved in setting-up and commercialising nine exploration projects through to mining operations. These include Finder’s Wetar 28Ktpa copper cathode project in Indonesia, Kingsgate’s +125Kozpa Chatree open-cut goldmine in Thailand, Oxiana’s +125Kozpa, Sepon open-cut CIL goldmine in Laos and Climax Mining’s Didipio +150Kozpa (gold equivalent) gold/copper concentrates in the Philippines. He is a Non-Executive Director Southern Palladium Limited (ASX and JSE Listed) and Bayrock Resources Limited.
Mr Thomson was appointed as a Director of Pacific Nickel Mines Limited on 3 September 2020.
James Dean
Non-Executive Director
James is a Corporate Advisor and Professional Investor with over 25 years professional experience in the finance industry and investment in mining, construction equipment, property development, feature film and biotech. Extensively travelled and possesses a worldwide network of business collaborators. Based in Europe.
Mr Dean was appointed as a Director of Pacific Nickel Mines Limited on 10 February 2011.
Willem Dique
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Dique is an experienced mining engineer with 18 years of experience in both technical and production management, for several commodities including nickel laterite, coal, and gold in both open pit and underground projects. Over the past 5 years Mr. Dique has worked specifically on open pit nickel laterite projects in Indonesia, which includes 3.5 years as a Corporate Manager of PT Hengjaya Mineralindo, an 80% owned subsidiary of Nickel Industries Limited (ASX: NIC).
In his capacity as Corporate Manager at PT Hengjaya Mineralindo, Mr. Dique directly oversaw the management of ramping up existing nickel laterite supply to fulfill stringent offtake agreements and, as part of the management team, explored new concession acquisitions to expand that company’s footprint.
Graham Frank
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Graham Frank has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer to enhance the Company’s financial capabilities and to assist with capital raisings, reporting, budgets and other compliance obligations. In this capacity Mr. Frank will also assist with project financing for the development of the Company’s nickel projects in the Solomon Islands and work with Blackbird Partners to facilitate financing for the Kolosori Nickel Project as expeditiously as possible.
Graham is a Chartered Accountant and was until recently a partner of Ernst & Young where he held several leadership positions, including as the Head of Tax for Oceania and the Deputy Leader of Tax for Asia Pacific. Graham specialised in advising Australian mining and oil and gas companies with their offshore resource investments and multi-national companies on their Australian mining investments. Graham is also currently a Director and Treasurer of a not-for-profit innovation group and a Board Adviser to a private investment fund.

Barclay Liliti
Senior Geologist
Barclay is local geologist with over 20 years’ experience in Solomon Islands, Australia and PNG. He has experience in managing exploration and resource development programmes and setting up community programs. He has been involved with the exploration, development and shipping of DSO bauxite operations in the Solomons.
Pawel Misiec
Commercial Manager
Pawel has a degree in political science and has multi-sector experience in the finance industry and logistics. He is a permanent resident and has been living in the Solomons for seven years.
